I love fashion shows.  But let's be honest, what fashionista doesn't?  From the loud music with heavy bass, to the beautiful outfits, what isn't there to love?  Just recently, I went to a fashion show at the Illinois Art Institute through my Fashion Merchandising class.  We were shown designs from local boutique owners and designers, as well as student artists.

Since I don't go to shows that frequently, I adore dressing to the nines whenever I have the opportunity to attend a show!  But unlike some of the outfits you see on people attending New York Fashion Week, I wanted my outfit to be fun and somewhat sassy -- representing my personality!

I started off with one of my favorite midi dresses, covered in dark purple and black flowers.  Since it was still a bit chilly that day, I threw on a fringe blazer and some polka-dotted tights for added excitement!  Since I did not necessarily like how my outfit looked with the midi dress being so long, I decided to knot it to the side, creating a somewhat asymmetrical look.  To finish off the ensemble, I put on my favorite, go-to pair of shoes: my suede booties.
