As you all probably know, I am a black clothing fanatic.  I was deeply sadden when Anna Wintour said "no all black" for this year.  But regardless of what Mrs. Wintour says, I'm still a fan.  Today I was going for any edgy vibe, I really wanted to dress in all black.  So I picked out my favorite leggings and put on a black top.  Though solid black on black isn't always a good idea, I chose a dark red leather jacket to add some color to my outfit.

One of my favorite things about fall is the ability to wear all black and look chic instead of frightening (all black is usually looked down upon during the warmer seasons).  I feel as though by having a more "dressy" pair of leggings -- like mine, which have faux leather detailing on them -- look a bit more classy versus a pair of classic cotton leggings.  Another tip I have is to wear a longer black shirt.  Since leggings are usually tight (and are only considered pants if your shirt isn't cropped), having a flowy and long black shirt ties your outfit together in a more modest way.  Since my black blouse was a little shorter than I would have liked for this outfit, I layered a chiffon black tank top under it to add flowiness and more length!  So if you're ever having problems with shorter tops, just layer a nice flowy tank top underneath, and you're ready to roll!

So don't be afraid to wear all black.  If you follow my two simple tips: wear detailed leggings and a longer top, you're sure to look edgy-chic!  Fall is all about breaking out your dark clothing and dark lipstick, so embrace it!  Love it!
