On Saturday and Sunday, I was in the Windy City of Chicago; shopping, visiting, and watching a Mock Trial tournament.  Both days had mediocre weather, so I was able to dress fashionably in light layers without freezing!

The key to layering when the weather is iffy, is to wear layers that are both long (in length hem wise as well as sleeve wise) and to have 3 or more layers that are light.  That way, you will be warm if weather permits and you're able to take off any layers without carrying the extra bulk of the temperature gets a bit more warm.

My outfit consisted of a very lightweight turtle neck tunic top, a light vest, a scarf, and cotton leggings and booties.  The whole combination was the perfect mix for this cold-but-warm weather.
