Today was freezing. This meant that the outfit that I had originally planned on wearing was out of the picture. I knew that since I had to walk home from school, tights weren't going to make the 30 degree weather cut. So today, I decided to break out my Chanel-esque fuzzy blazer. The magnificent part about this blazer is how comfortable it is. Though the shearling textile is only on the shell of the coat, the inside is lined with soft cotton that not only keeps your body warm, but snuggled in comfort.
I decided to pair my coat with my favorite blouse with lace trim. The top added a pop of color, and the lace added an extra pop of texture and detail. In addition to the fun blouse, I put on my skirt-leggings (Leggings... with a pencil skirt ALL IN ONE! Fashion minus the hassle of layering leggings with a pencil skirt!) because the brand who makes them uses the highest quality fabrics which allows them to fit perfectly and keep your legs nice and toasty.
To finish off the look, I paired my favorite black booties to keep the remainder of the outfit simple. I also added a light pink statement necklace to contrast with the purple blouse. Overall, the combination was girlie but glam.
