It's around this time that people start resenting their New Year's resolutions, and instead of being excited for a change they forgot the promises they've made to themselves. Of the 41 percent of Americans who make New Year's resolutions, 21 percent of those people proclaim that they will become more healthy and workout. If you were one of those people that promised to yourself that this would be the year that you would get in shape — don't give up just yet. I wouldn't necessarily call this music my typical cup of tea. But when I'm working out I love to feel pumped up, and I've found that listening to music with heavy bass and fast beats makes my workout 10x better. Along with the sound, most of these songs have a fast tempo which makes running to so much easier. I've tried running to music that is slow and let me tell you — my workout suffers.
