While some people fangirl over celebrities like Justin Bieber or Kylie Jenner, I on the other hand, fawn over fashion and beauty editors. If you were to take a look at my Instagram feed, you would see editors like Michelle Lee and Laura Brown gracing the screen. Similarly to athletes and models, these editors have established a brand for themselves through their social media interactions. Below, I share my four favorite fashion editors at the moment, and why you should follow them. Trust me, your feed won't be disappointed!

Michelle Lee is the brains behind "beauty bible," Allure magazine. With her signature winged eyeliner and vibrant nail art, Lee is the queen of all things beauty. Her Instagram page not only features Boomerang-ed mirror shots of her in flowing dresses, but also gives viewers a sneak peek at the publication's latest stories and features.

My favorite part of Lee's Instagram? Her "Mini Michelle Lee." Her daughter, @minimichellelee, makes frequent appearances on her page. Not only does this prove how down-to-earth Lee is, but it's cute and quite frankly #momgoals.

christene barberich | refinery29

Christene Barberich is probably one of the coolest editors out there. I stumbled upon Barberich's page after trying to land an internship with Refinery29. Though I sadly never heard back from the company, I ended up falling head-over-Miu-Miu-heels for Barberich's quirky, layered, and patterned outfits. While you may think that fashion girls are all about all-black ensembles, this editor proves that theory wrong. Barberich shows that personal style should be fun and wild — with a pop of brightly-colored lipstick.

laura brown | instyle

If anyone knows fashion, it's Laura Brown. Having experienced several sides of the industry — from judging fashion reality shows to editing two of the biggest fashion publications — Brown is the ultimate go-to-follow on social media. But putting her style aside, Brown is also hilariously relatable. At industry events, Brown can be found Instagram-storying her experience, and posting images with captions that make me say, "Same girl, same." And with all of the editorial experience that Brown has on her back, it makes her a must-follow.

leandra medine | man repeller

I hate to sound cliche, but if you've never heard of Leandra Medine then I'm convinced you've been living under a rock. This fashion writer is the queen of satirical editorials. With her website/blog motto, "A humorous site about serious fashion," Medine takes the 'straight face' out of style. On her Instagram, you can find her chowing down on vegan burgers from By Chloe (#relateable), sitting front row at envy-worthy shows during fashion week, or decked out in unlikely outfit combinations featuring sandals with socks. Medine is the best of all worlds when it comes to fashion publishing — you can't not love her.
